Our Returns Policy & 90 Day Guarantee.

Faulty Product

The Cartridge Warehouse will provide a replacement free of charge or refund the purchase price at our election for faulty products returned to us within 90 days of purchase subject to:

    * The product having not been refilled or tampered with.

    * Inspection and/or testing by us of the returned product.

    * You must send us an email asking for a Return Authorisation (RA) before returning the faulty product.

    * A copy of the RA email together with a sample of faulty print accompanying the returned product.

    * The faulty cartridge MUST be sent by REGISTERED POST.

**We will not send a replacement cartridge until the faulty has been returned to us. No exceptions!! You  can't get a replacement at a "Bricks and Mortar" retailer without first returning the faulty product and we are no different. This is a standard practice and is covered by law.** 

Original shipping charges are not refundable and Purchasers are responsible for shipping charges back to us. We will pay the shipping charges on the replacement product. Warranty on all Non Genuine Cartridges is usually 12 months and Genuine 3 months. 

 

 

Wrong Product

 In the event of a Purchaser having ordered the wrong product, The Cartridge Warehouse will (at our election) generally accept return of the product and credit the sale price (excluding the shipping charge) after deducting a restocking fee of 10%-15% depending on the product. The product must be un-opened and in a re-sellable condition. If the Purchaser orders a replacement product of a similar or greater value to replace the wrong goods the restocking fee will also cover the cost of shipping by standard method of the replacement product. Credits are at the discretion of The Cartridge Warehouse and are subject to:

    * The product being shipped back to us within 7 days of receipt by the Purchaser.

    * A Return Authorisation (RA) via email being obtained.

    * A copy of the RA email accompanying the returned product.

    * The product and its packaging being "as new when received by us.

    * The product being a generally stocked item of The Cartridge Warehouse.

    * The returned product must be sent to us by REGISTERED POST.

Please pack the goods in another box or padded envelope so the the original packaging will not be damaged by stickers, courier lables etc.

By placing an order with The Cartridge Warehouse you are agreeing to abide by these Terms and Conditions.

Product Warranty

 

Genuine printer consumables:-

 

  1. The Cartridge Warehouse provides a replacement or money back warranty against defective material or workmanship on all genuine products provided that the defective item is returned within 90 days of the invoice date or as otherwise stipulated in the product description

  2. On receipt of the defective products within this period The Cartridge Warehouse will carry out what tests are needed or return the product/s to the original manufacturer for testing to confirm the fault/s and at your request either supply you with a replacement or refund you the purchase price of the defective product. Please note this process may take some time particularly if the original manufacturer requires the products be returned back to them. We will always try to handle any returns as quickly as possible but we cannont guarantee how long this will take

  3. This warranty excludes damages due to negligence. Proof of purchase must be submitted for all claims under warranty

 

Non-genuine printer consumables (Both compatible & remanufactured):-

 

  1. The Cartridge Warehouse provides a replacement or money back warranty against defective material or workmanship on all non-genuine printing consumables (toner cartridges, ink cartridges, fax rolls, ribbons) provided that the defective item is returned within 12 months from date of purchase. In addition our non genuine cartridges and fax rolls are also guaranteed against poor quality for 30 days from when you receive them (The only stipulation is that a test print is required to explain the reason for the return)

  2. On receipt of the defective products within this period The Cartridge Warehouse will carry out what tests are needed or return the product/s to the original manufacturer for testing to confirm the fault/s and at your request either supply you with a replacement or refund you the purchase price of the defective product. Please note this process may take some time particularly if the original manufacturer requires the products be returned back to them. We will always try to handle any returns as quickly as possible but we cannont guarantee how long this will take

  3. This warranty excludes damages due to negligence. Proof of purchase must be submitted for all claims under warranty

    In addition to the above warranty we are adding an extra 12mths for both genuine and non genuine for even more peace of mind !!

 

All other stock items (printing hardware, electronic components etc):-

 

The warranty period on all other products is as per the product description

 

Equipment Warranty:

 

Important: Some manufacturers now require you to deal directly with them even if you bought the goods through us. At the moment this is the case for OKI, Konica and Xerox but this may change so when you lodge your return we will let you know if you need to ring the manufacturer directly.

 

The Cartridge Warehouse supports the quality of its printing consumables (toner cartridges, ink cartridges, fax rolls, ribbons) with a warranty that it will meet all reasonable costs to repair any damage which occurs to your printing equipment as a direct result of a defective toner cartridge, ink cartridge, fax roll or ribbon provided that:

 

  1. The Cartridge Warehouse is notified in writing of the damage within 14 days of the damage occurring

  2. The notice of damage is accompanied by a signed statement from your service technician detailing the nature of the defect in the toner cartridge and damage to the printing equipment and stating the defect in the toner cartridge was directly responsible for the damage and a quoted cost for repairing the printing equipment

  3.  If requested by The Cartridge Warehouse, you provide a signed statement from the manufacturers of your printing equipment or its representatives stating that neither the manufacturer nor its representative is liable for the damage to the printing equipment within the terms of the equipment warranty or otherwise

  4. Any other documentation required by The Cartridge Warehouse is provided if requested (eg details as to when the machine was last serviced, age of the machine)

 

Subject to your compliance with these conditions, The Cartridge Warehouse will as soon as reasonably practicable at its option either pay the quoted costs of placing your printing equipment or repair the equipment itself and may use reconditioned or reworked parts to do so. That is the extent of The Cartridge Warehouse total liability under this warranty.

Freight Info 
 
Our freight system usess both Australia Post and Couriers depending on your location (mostly couriers).
 
Standard Freight:
In most cases standard freight, is all that you will need to get your order quickly and at a reasonable cost. Shipping time is usually same day / next day delivery if you place your order by 3pm, please ensure that someone is present at the delivery address specified on your order otherwise the courier will leave a card to arrange re-delivery. You can ask us to leave the parcel at th door. Or have it sent to your work.
 
All orders attract a flat fee of $7.50 to any address in Australia. (Except Po Boxes)

Express Freight:

Express freight services are available in many locations (the major cities) guaranteed to get to you within 1-2hrs, 2-3hrs or 3-4hrs. The exact cost will have to be determined at the time you order depending on your location and what you are ordering, so just contact us by phone or email.

Note: The cutoff for this service is 3pm to allow for time needed to process the order, get it through to the warehouse and then for the courier to be able to get it to the destination by COB.

Overseas Orders:
For orders outside of Australia please contact us by phone or email first before placing an order through the website as freight will need to be calculated after considering the items being shipped, area being shipped to etc.

Shipment will be by:-
  • Australia Post - They have a range of delivery options such as ECI (Express Courier International), Air Services, Sea Services with options for additional insurance coverage, delivery confirmation etc. You can find out more information by going to their website.
  • Courier within Australia - We can ship to whatever location in Australia you wish and then you can arrange your own transport to your country
Payment for Overseas Orders:
We can only accept payment for an overseas order by direct bank transfer or cheque/money order and goods will only be shipped once the funds have cleared. Any overseas payment by credit/debit card submitted without contacting us first will NOT result in any goods being sent.
